Jakub Błaszczykowski faces a spell on the sidelines after partially dislocating his shoulder in Fiorentina's 2-1 defeat to Basel in the Europa League.

Jakub Blaszczykowski could be facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a partially dislocated shoulder.

Fiorentina have confirmed that the on-loan winger's injury occurred during Thursday's 2-1 Europa League defeat to Basel.

Blaszczykowski played the full 90 minutes as Paulo Sousa lost to his former club.

Fiorentina travel to Carpi on Sunday.
