Bobby Zamora will partner Wayne Rooney up front for England's qualifier against Montenegro tonight, according to reports.
The Fulham frontman, 30, has just one cap to his name after appearing as a substitute in a friendly with Hungary last summer.
Zamora's selection means that Andy Carroll, Darren Bent and Danny Welbeck are overlooked for a starting place.
Meanwhile, manager Fabio Capello is expected to start Phil Jones, 19, at right back.
Kickoff tonight is at 8pm.
