Felix Magath has said that he has the trust of Fulham owner Shahid Khan after being appointed as the club's new manager.
The former Bayern Munich coach was appointed as the Cottagers' new manager earlier this evening following the dismissal of Rene Meulensteen after just three months with the club.
The German wrote on his Facebook page: "Here we go again, I'm coming back into football. I am manager of Fulham with immediate effect. It's a fantastic working environment for any coach and footballer.
"This traditional, great club and its owner Shahid Khan have complete conviction in me as manager and I think the club and the owner for that trust.
"Now, I'm looking forward to football and even more to the work."
Magath, who has never managed outside Germany before, will take charge of the club for the first time when they travel to West Bromwich Albion next Saturday.
