Jerome Boateng unhappy with Mesut Ozil boos

Jerome Boateng hits out at the Germany supporters who booed Mesut Ozil during their friendly draw against Cameroon.

Jerome Boateng has hit out at the Germany fans who booed international teammate Mesut Ozil during Sunday's friendly against Cameroon.

The Arsenal midfielder was met by jeers from a section of supporters following a subdued display in the 2-2 draw at Borussia-Park.

"I do not understand, I cannot understand," Boateng told reporters.

"In that case people should not come to the stadium. That they whistle so early into the game. I do not understand."

Germany coach Joachim Low has admitted that Ozil is not playing his best football ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.
