The 24-year-old had been a free agent for a short period of time following his recent release by Turkish outfit Bursaspor.
However, he has now headed back to his native Spain following the agreement of an 18-month deal with El Grana.
The winger started his professional career with Barcelona, for whom he made 30 appearances and scored four goals over a two-season period.
