Team News: Josh Magennis to serve as lone striker for Kilmarnock against Hamilton Academical

Kilmarnock call upon Josh Magennis to lead their attack against Hamilton amid an injury crisis up front.

Kilmarnock intermin manager Gary Locke has called upon Josh Magennis to lead the attack in their Scottish Premiership match at Hamilton Academical in the absence of other recognised strikers.

The Accies have drafted midfielder Darian MacKinnon back into their starting XI following a suspension, but Dougie Imrie is still serving a ban.

The hosts were hoping to secure international clearance for recent signing Nigel Hasselbaink to feature in the match, but were unable to obtain it in time.

Hamilton boss Martin Canning has called upon his fringe players to step up against Killie after losing stars Mickael Antoine-Curier and Tony Andreu in the winter window.

Hamilton: McGovern, Gordon, Canning, Tena, Hendrie, Gillespie, MacKinnon, Crawford, Routledge, Redmond, Scotland

Kilmarnock: Samson, Westlake, Pascali, Connolly, Chantler, Eremenko, McKenzie, Clingan, Slater, Obadeyi, Magennis
