Hartlepool United have extended the loan spell of Middlesbrough defender Adam Jackson until the New Year.
The 21-year-old, who initially joined the League Two outfit last month, will now remain at Victoria Park until January 2.
Jackson has yet to make a senior appearance for Boro, but the centre-back has been used five times by the Pools in all competitions so far.
"Adam has done well since he came to the club so we're pleased to keep him," boss Ronnie Moore told the club's official website. "He's only relatively young but he plays with maturity so we're happy that Middlesbrough have allowed him to stay with us until January."
Middlesbrough youth product Jackson has also spent time on loan at Coventry City in the past, but he failed to make a single appearance during his one-month spell with the Sky Blues.
