Hearts have insisted that Nottingham Forest have not made a "fresh bid" for midfielder Jason Holt.
The Championship club have seen three offers rejected for the 20-year-old during the summer, the last of which was reported to be £150,000.
Forest manager Billy Davies was present at the Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibernian on Sunday, but the Scottish Premiership side have revealed that they have not received a fourth offer from the City Ground outfit.
Holt has made 28 appearances for Hearts, while also representing Scotland at Under-21 level.
