York City swoop for Huddersfield Town youngster William Boyle

York City secure the loan services of Huddersfield Town's Under-21 captain William Boyle until early January.

William Boyle has agreed a loan switch to York City until January 3.

The 20-year-old has made the move from Huddersfield Town, where he is the captain of the Championship club's Under-21 side.

He was recently part of the senior squad that travelled to Spain for a training camp under the guidance of new manager David Wagner.

However, upon his return to England, the defender has been granted permission to spend the next couple of months in League Two with York.

Boyle will wear the number 28 shirt during his stint at Bootham Crescent.
