Tom Huddlestone wins Hull City recall

Hull City boss Steve Bruce reveals that Tom Huddlestone will be back in the starting XI for the team's clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has revealed that he will recall Tom Huddlestone for tomorrow's trip to Everton in the Premier League.

The midfielder was dropped from the starting XI on Saturday for the Tigers' 3-0 defeat away to Manchester United.

However, the 27-year-old's reaction to being left out has prompted Bruce to put him back in the side for Hull's clash with the Toffees at Goodison Park.

"Tom was unfortunate to be left out but he took it exactly the way I thought he would," he told reporters. "He didn't go in a huff, he got on with it. He's put himself in contention again. Can we expect to see him in the team? Yes."

Hull are currently above the relegation zone on goal difference following a run of four consecutive defeats.
