Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that he is hoping to wrap up a deal for 34-year-old Abdoulaye Faye "in the next 24 or 48 hours".
The former Stoke City centre-back is a target for Hull, and the boss has admitted that the club have held talks with a view to concluding a deal soon.
"Yes, we've been speaking with Faye and we hope we can conclude a deal," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We hope to get an answer in the next 24 or 48 hours."
Faye has had spells with Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Stoke and spent last season at West Ham United.
