Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni blames Roma defeat on psychology

Inter manager Andrea Stramaccioni blames his side's 3-1 defeat to Roma on a psychological problem in the second half.

Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni has blamed his side's defeat to Roma on a psychological problem and said that his players need to reflect on their performance.

Roma recorded a famous 3-1 win at the San Siro at the weekend, with goals coming from Francesco Totti, Pablo Osvaldo and Marquinho.

"I did not like the second half," Stramaccioni told reporters. "We had a great first half and then the goal by Osvaldo, on a long ball from Totti, found us a little unprepared.

"Following the second goal, not good. This should make us reflect. Something has not gone right on a psychological level tonight."

Inter travel to Torino in their next Serie A match following the international break on Sunday, September 16.
