Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic has said that his team will "do everything" in a bid to qualify for next season's Champions League.

The Milan giants thumped Cagliari 4-0 on Tuesday night to move into third position in the Serie A table.

Fifth-placed Lazio are just two points off Inter with a game in hand, but Perisic is confident that his side will be able to secure a top-four finish this term.

"The Champions League? It's not far away," Perisic told Inter's match programme. "Every game is crucial, but we all want to reach our objective, which is the Champions League, and we'll do everything to qualify.

"We're doing well, but we can still do better. We're getting to know each other more and, of course, our understanding increases with each game."

Inter have won 17, drawn 12 and lost four of their 33 Serie A matches thus far this season.
