Thomas Ince still open to Premier League move

Thomas Ince leaves the door open on a switch to the Premier League despite holding talks with Inter Milan in Italy.

Thomas Ince has left the door open for potential Premier League suitors by claiming that his purported move to Inter Milan is not certain.

The youngster, who will be a free agent this summer, flew to Milan on Sunday to discuss a possible switch to San Siro when the transfer window opens.

However Ince, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, has claimed that he has "unfinished business" in England's top division.

He told Sky Sports News: "It's early stages with talks [at Inter] and it's flattering to be linked with this great club, it's a great opportunity [to join a club] with a great history and a great background to it.

"But at the same time I feel there's an uncertainty for me about the Premier League, and I feel I've got unfinished business there, definitely.

"Inter Milan is a fantastic club, one of the European giants. They're in a transitional period, and they want to bring in young players. If they're the only club in for me then great, but I also feel the Premier League is somewhere I can show my talent. No certain decision [has been made] in my head at the minute."

Ince's father, Paul, played for the Nerazzurri in the 1990s.
