Ipswich Town have confirmed the signing of former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kevin Foley on a deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old had been without a club since leaving Danish outfit Copenhagen in the summer.
By joining Championship side Ipswich, Foley will again link up with former Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
"It's taken a bit of time due to the international clearance and stuff but I'm just happy it's done now," the 31-year-old told the club website. "I really enjoyed my time here anyway and a door sort of opened up for me once Jonathan Parr departed.
"I know the gaffer and [assistant Terry Connor] from our days at Wolves and it's great to work with them again. They know what I'm all about and likewise I know how they work."
Ipswich also announced this afternoon that McCarthy and Connor had signed new contracts at Portman Road.
