Half-Time Report: Juventus pegged back by Torino

Matteo Darmian scores at the end of the first half to draw Torino level against city rivals Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico.

Torino have come from behind to hold Juventus at 1-1 at the halfway stage of their Serie A clash this afternoon.

Fabio Quagliarella threatened for the hosts early on with a strike from outside the box, but it lacked enough power to seriously trouble Gianluigi Buffon.

Moments later, Juventus almost scored with their first shot of the match, but Alessandro Matri volleyed over the bar after being picked out by Andrea Pirlo's ball over the top.

In the 35th minute, the Bianconeri did manage to find the net as Pirlo curled a trademark free kick in off the bar that left Daniele Padelli with no chance.

At the very end of the first half, Torino levelled the scores when Matteo Darmian was found by Quagliarella and, despite a heavy first touch, he was able to burst into the box and slide an effort past Buffon.
