Southampton and Aston Villa are reportedly in direct competition to secure the services of Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna.
The 27-year-old, who is rated at around £10m, has struggled to secure first-team football at the Old Lady and is expected to leave this summer, reports Tuttosport.
Serie A newcomers Bologna have been linked with Ogbonna, but the centre-back is said to be keen to test his mettle in one of Europe's other top divisions.
Ogbonna has made 41 appearances for Juve since joining the club from Torino in 2013. He has also earned 10 senior international caps with Italy.
