Preview: Kasimpasa vs. Bodrumspor - prediction, team news, lineups

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Turkish Super Lig clash between Kasimpasa and Bodrumspor, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.

Kasimpasa will aim to end a three-match winless streak when they host Bodrumspor at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadyumu on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig.

Meanwhile, the visitors will hope to maintain their recent resurgence with a third consecutive league victory.

Kasimpasa have struggled to match last season's performance so far, recording just one victory after seven league matches, drawing four and losing two, leaving them in 14th place with seven points.

However, the Apaches will take a lot of positives from their last game, having come back from a 3-0 deficit to draw 3-3 away at Galatasaray last Saturday.

Sami Ugurlu's side conceded three goals in the opening 34 minutes, but Mamadou Fall pulled one back just before the break, and in a dramatic fashion, Kasimpasa levelled the game in its closing stages, with Haris Hajradinovic scoring from the spot in the 83rd minute and Nuno da Costa restoring parity five minutes into stoppage time.

The Apaches will hope to carry this resilient spirit into their next game against Bodrum, in what will be a historic first-ever meeting between both sides.

However, Ugurlu's men have struggled at home this season, drawing and losing two each of four home matches, while failing to find the net in the most recent two.

Bodrum secured two consecutive victories in the Super Lig for the first time in their history, following a 3-1 triumph at home against Adana Demirspor in their latest outing.

George Puscas netted a brace, scoring one in each half, either side of Taulan Sulejmanov's goal, to hand Ismet Tasdemir's team a third win of the season.

Bodrum are yet to draw a match in the Super Lig, suffering four defeats from their opening seven matches, which leaves them in eighth place with nine points.

After losing their opening two matches on the road, the club from Mugla secured their first away victory in the Super Lig with a 1-0 win over Hatayspor in their most recent away game, and now they have an opportunity to win two consecutive away matches for the first time.

Team News

Kasimpasa will enter this clash with a fully fit squad, giving Ugurlu plenty of options to choose from.

New signing Josip Brekalo, who was sent off against Antalyaspor, has served his suspension and will be available for this fixture.

Nuno scored his fourth league goal last time out, the most by any player in the hosts' team, making him the man to watch.

Bodrum will be without Mustafa Erdilman, who is out until next year with a ligament injury, and Christophe Herelle, who is sidelined with an ankle injury until next month.

Tunahan Akpinar, who is nursing a shin injury, and Suleyman Ozdamar, who has an ankle problem, are doubtful for this game.

Puscas' brace against Adana increased his season tally to three, and the striker will be hoping to score in two consecutive matches for the first time.

Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Gianniotis; Winck, Opoku, Ozcan, Ouannes; Cafu; Fall, Barak, Kara, Hajradinovic; Costa

Bodrumspor possible starting lineup:
Sousa; Celustka, Ajeti, Aytemur, Sen; Mohammed; Dimitrov, Aslan, Seferi, Brazao; Puscas

We say: Kasimpasa 1-1 Bodrumspor

Kasimpasa's resilience in their last match could prove to be a turning point in their season, but Bodrum have also demonstrated in recent weeks that they are capable of competing with the top teams. For this reason, we are predicting a draw.
