Beckham: I'd only play for Man Utd

David Beckham thinks that playing for a Premier League club other than Manchester United would feel "weird".

David Beckham has revealed that a return to the Premier League is unlikely unless former club Manchester United express an interest.

The 36-year-old, who clinched the MLS Cup with Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday, has come to the end of his Major League Soccer contract and is still considering his options.

"I've always said unless it was for Manchester United I'd feel weird playing in any other shirt in the Premier League," Beckham told Sky Sports News.

"It's a club that as a boy I always wanted to play for, I always wanted to start my career there and finish my career there.

"Obviously I moved away from there to go to Real Madrid, but I'm still a Manchester United fan and playing for another club would seem weird, so I don't think that will happen but who knows."

The midfielder has admitted that while he has been in contact with Paris Saint-Germain director Leonardo, talks over a possible move have not been discussed.
