Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly demanded a monthly wage of £860,000 in order to return to Serie A over the January transfer window.
The 38-year-old has spent the last two years with Los Angeles Galaxy, scoring 52 goals in 56 MLS games, and recently confirmed that he would seek a new club in January.
Reports have heavily linked Ibrahimovic with a return to Serie A, where he enjoyed spells at Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
According to La Repubblica, however, any club that wishes to sign the Swede must shell out £860,000 per month until June.
AC Milan and Napoli are the two clubs most heavily linked with the player, while Bologna are also said to have shown an interest.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently confirmed that the club are interested in signing Ibrahimovic, who has previously worked alongside manager Carlo Ancelotti.
