Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic has insisted that his players must give more to end their away-day jinx after slipping to a third defeat of the campaign at Atalanta BC this afternoon.
The Aquile have now picked up just one point in four away matches this season, with a late German Denis winner enough to earn Atalanta a 2-1 victory earlier today.
Petkovic believes that the blame for a slack finish lies with the whole team rather than any individual, declaring that Lazio must play with more speed and intensity to compete on the road.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "We paid for some ingenuous defending, we have to work [on it]. We wanted to win and we believed in ourselves.
"In the first half we lacked concreteness but in the second half we started well. At the end, however, we paid for an avoidable error.
"Against these teams that close down well, you have to go forward with great speed. It's not a question of a single player. Everyone must give a little bit more."
Lazio sit ninth in Serie A after today's slip-up with 11 points from eight matches.
