The agent of Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia has claimed that Real Madrid are interested in signing his client.
The 28-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut season for the Rome outfit after joining the club from Anderlecht last summer.
He was also part of the Argentina side that reached the World Cup final and his agent Enzo Montepaone has said that a number of clubs, including the European champions, have enquired about his availability.
"He is still on vacation and hasn't thought about how to begin the new season," Montepaone told lalaziosiamonoi. "In Belgium he always played in the Champions League, so not taking part in these competitions means he doesn't feel complete.
"When a player like this makes his mark, it is natural there is interest in him. He belongs in a big team and we have received many requests. Real Madrid? Yes, it's true, we'll see what happens..."
Biglia has made 26 appearances for Argentina since making debut in 2011.
