Lazio are reportedly on the brink of signing Fernando Llorente on a free transfer.
Despite being frequently involved during the second half of last season, Llorente was allowed to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of his two-year contract earlier this summer.
The Spaniard has been linked with several teams in his homeland and in Serie A, where he has previously represented Juventus.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the 34-year-old has been holding talks with Lazio ahead of a move to the Stadio Olimpico.
The report claims that negotiations have been taking place for a number of days ahead of a potential announcement later this week.
Llorente contributed 23 goals from 66 outings in Serie A when playing for Juve between 2013 and 2015.
