Markus Olsson and Nuno Gomes net for visiting Blackburn Rovers at Leeds United before El Hadji Diouf pulls one back for the hosts.

Blackburn Rovers are on the right side of a three-goal scoreline at Elland Road after 45 minutes this afternoon.

Rovers centre-back Scott Dann had to come off in the opening ten minutes after picking up what appeared to be a leg injury.

The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when Morten Gamst Pedersen lifted over the top for Markus Olsson, who charged down the left before drilling low past Paddy Kenny.

The lead was doubled minutes later when Pedersen and Olsson again linked up, with the latter setting up Nuno Gomes to curl home.

Leeds pulled one back before the interval when Luciano Becchio beat Paul Robinson to a high ball, with El Hadji Diouf pouncing on the loose ball to poke home.
