MK Dons manager Karl Robinson rules out the possibility of him taking over Leeds United.

Karl Robinson has insisted that he has no intention of leaving MK Dons to take over Leeds United.

The 31-year-old has confessed to being flattered by speculation linking him with the vacancy at Elland Road.

However, Robinson is only concentrating on bringing success to the Stadium:MK.

"It's the fifth one this year. Forest and a number of other clubs have come knocking this year," said Robinson. "It's flattering, and I do look at Leeds as one of the greatest in my generation. They are one of the biggest clubs in the country. I remember going there with Dons and it was spine-tingling just walking out at Elland Road.

"But I've stuck to my word and signed a new contract. Certain managers ask for time, get success, and then jump ship. I'm going to stay here for as long as I can and get this club where it belongs.

"You may look at that and say I lack ambition, but I want to be the best one day. I'm a long way from being that. A million miles and many years, but I want to keep learning with good people, a good chairman and a fantastic group of fans."

Billy Davies recently admitted that he would be interested in talking to Leeds about the job.
