A Leeds United supporters' group has confirmed that they will try to meet with Russell Crowe next month to discuss the Oscar-winning actor potentially buying the club.
Crowe, a lifelong Leeds fan, asked his Twitter followers last week whether or not he should purchase the Championship side.
Leeds LLP made contact with Crowe on Twitter and he directed them to watch a six-episode show of the work he has done as co-owner of Australian rugby league side South Sydney Rabbitohs, transforming them into world champions in eight years.
A statement from LLP read: "We've contacted the South Sydney Rabbitohs to try and track down the six-part show that Russell mentioned in his tweets.
"Russell is back in the UK next month and we will try to get a face to face to see if we can get something more concrete from him."
After the initial interest from Crowe came to light, Leeds were quick to insist that the club was not for sale.
