Leeds United have announced the appointment of Rob Kelly as the assistant to new head coach Uwe Rosler.
Kelly, the former Leicester City manager, has been out of a job since leaving West Bromwich Albion, where he was a coach under Alan Irvine before Tony Pulis's arrival in January.
He will work as right-hand man to Rosler, who feels that Kelly's experience of second-tier football will be vital.
"He knows this league in and out and he knows the players in and out," Rosler told the club website. "He's good on the training field.
"I was always looking to bring in somebody experienced who has worked at this level for quite some time - I think that Rob is a very good option."
Kelly's 15-month spell in charge of Leicester last decade was his only full managerial role, but he has coached at Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and the Baggies since then.
