Queens Park Rangers make Paddy Kenny complaint

Queens Park Rangers lodge a formal complaint to Leeds United over the conduct of goalkeeper Paddy Kenny after he allegedly sent abusive texts to club officials.

Queens Park Rangers have lodged a formal complaint to Leeds United over the behaviour of goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.

Kenny joined the Championship club from QPR this summer following the arrival of fellow keeper Rob Green at Loftus Road.

Green suffered a torrid time on his debut for the club, letting in five goals in a drubbing at the hands of Swansea City, and Kenny is alleged to have sent mocking texts to club officials over the England international's performance.

QPR technical director Mike Rigg and chairman Tony Fernandes were reportedly the targets of Kenny's wrath, which occurred late on Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Rigg is also thought to have received phone calls from Kenny until 3am on the Sunday morning, prompting the official complaint.

Kenny had previously taken to Twitter to attack his former club, labelling them a "tin pot club".
