Leeds United have confirmed that midfielder Rodolph Austin will be sidelined for a period of time after suffering a cracked ankle bone.
The Jamaica international was dealt the injury blow during his side's 6-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday, with initial fears that the 27-year-old had suffered a double leg break.
"It's better news that we first thought," Warnock told the club's official website. "The swelling made it difficult for us to get a full diagnosis until Monday evening. We wish him well in his recovery and hopefully he will be back with us sooner rather than later."
Meanwhile, Leeds currently sit 18th in the Championship table.
