Leeds United utility man Aidy White has revealed that he prefers to play left-back rather than in midfield.
The 21-year-old has been employed in a number of positions since breaking into the set-up at Elland Road, but he has admitted that he prefers to play in a defensive position.
"Long-term I probably see myself as more of a left-back, but I think the manager sees me as a bit more attacking, a bit more of a winger," White told Sky Sports News.
"I'm happy to play in any position as long as I'm playing, I'll always go out and give it my all. But in terms of my best position, my best games for Leeds so far have been as a left-back.
"In January I had that nice four or five-game run in the side when I was playing left-back consistently and I thought I did quite well. It's obviously difficult with Stephen Warnock coming in, but he's a fantastic player and there's so much you can learn from him."
Leeds currently sit 10th in the Championship table.
