Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Tom Adeyemi on a season-long loan deal from fellow Championship side Cardiff City.
The midfielder has moved to Elland Road with a view to making the deal permanent.
The 23-year-old joined the Bluebirds from Birmingham City last summer but struggled to hold down a regular starting place with the Welsh club.
Adeyemi, who played under Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler during a loan stint at Brentford in the 2012-13 campaign, began his career with Norwich City before joining Birmingham in 2013, where he spent just one season.
Adeyemi becomes Leeds's fifth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Charlie Horton, Lee Erwin, Sol Bamba and Chris Wood.
