Alan Hutton praises Aston Villa character following win over Leicester City

Aston Villa full-back Alan Hutton praises his side's character after he scores in their 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League.

Aston Villa full-back Alan Hutton has praised his side's character and confidence as they beat Leicester City 2-1 in the Premier League.

The defender proved to be the difference at Villa Park as he grabbed a winning goal in the 71st minute to give Paul Lambert back-to-back victories in the English top flight.

"I'm happy to pitch in and do my best, it's been that long since my last goal," Hutton told reporters after the game.

"We showed character and confidence. We're five games unbeaten and 11th in the league, the boys are over the moon with it and hopefully we can build on this."

The win now sees Aston Villa sitting in 11th spot in the Premier League table.
