Nigel Pearson has been crowned Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for April following an impressive four weeks in charge of Leicester City.
The Foxes boss fended off competition from Arsene Wenger, Roberto Martinez and Jose Mourinho - the latter of whom has yet to win the accolade this season despite his side's title-winning exploits.
Four straight victories over West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City and Burnley saw Leicester climb out of the drop zone for the first time since November, with their only defeat coming at home to Mourinho's Chelsea.
Pearson also hit the headlines for the wrong reasons last month when he called a journalist an "ostrich", but his side's impressive displays on the field were enough to land him the award.
