Claudio Ranieri has admitted that he is not concerned about getting sacked by Leicester City following a dismal run of results in the Premier League.

The Foxes shocked the football world last season by becoming English champions for the first time in the club's history.

Ranieri's side stormed to the title with a 10-point margin, but this season they have only managed to take 13 points from a possible 42.

In the Champions League the Foxes are flying high having qualified for the last 16 at the top of their group with one game to play, but on the domestic front, the club are just two points above relegation.

Ranieri does not fear for his future, but he admits that club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is disappointed with the team's current form.

When asked by reporters if he is concerned about being replaced, Ranieri said: "Never, because it's not my decision. The owner is always behind us, he always tells us how he can help us and is always positive. Of course, he's not happy - no-one at the club is.

"When we win, we win together. When we lose, we lose together. My experience says it's important to stay calm and be positive, believe in your players and do the best for your team."

After facing Porto in their final European group game on Wednesday, Leicester will welcome Manchester City to the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
