Bursaspor interested in Ahmed Musa loan move

Bursaspor representative Hasan Parlakay admits that the Turkish club are interested in signing out-of-favour Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa on loan.

Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa has emerged as a loan target for Turkish club Bursaspor.

The 25-year-old has featured just once for the Foxes this season, in August's 4-1 win over Sheffield United in the EFL Cup.

Musa was previously linked with a move to Championship side Hull City due to the prospect of working under Leonid Slutsky, his former manager at CSKA Moscow, but the Russian's dismissal has put paid to the idea.

However, Bursaspor representative Hasan Parlakay confirmed the Superlig club's interest in taking the Nigeria international on loan while speaking to reporters on Friday.

"Ahmed Musa is a very influential player who will be able to add value and class to us." Parlakay is quoted by The Sun as saying.

"If we are realistic, we cannot buy him. But he wants to play with Nigeria in the World Cup. For this you have to keep playing and keep form in the league.

"We have players in our team from the same national team, [Mikel] Agu and [William] Troost-Ekong.

"Wearing the Bursaspor shirt on loan until the end of the year is an attractive offer. We hope to give good news in the coming days."

Musa has made a total of 33 appearances for Leicester, scoring five goals.
