Levante boss Jose Luis Mendilibar has vowed to bring a new style of football to the club next season.
The 53-year-old, who departed Osasuna in 2013, has replaced outgoing head coach Joaquin Caparros at the La Liga outfit.
"I have an idea about the style of football I want to play but we'll have to wait and see how the players take to it and if they accept it or don't accept it," Inside Spanish Football quotes the experienced boss as saying at his official unveiling.
"I'd be foolish to want to do something the players don't want to do. It's just a matter of implementing it. We'll start off by doing what we think will help us grow and it's up to them to make it happen. If at first I see that it's not working, we'll try a different variation.
"We can't think that we must exceed the goals met by those before us, but we can't stop either. We need to go for our principle objective, but without brakes, of course."
Mendilibar has managed the likes of Athletic Bilbao, Eibar and Real Valladolid during a well-travelled career.
