Levante advance to the last 16 of the Europa League after beating Olympiacos 4-0 on aggregate.

Levante have advanced to the last 16 of the Europa League with a 1-0 win over Olympiacos thanks to an Obafemi Martins strike, winning the tie 4-0 on aggregate.

The visitors opened the scoring in the ninth minute, securing the all-important away goal to all but secure the game as Martins headed Jose Barkero's cross into the net from close range.

Martins could have had a second minutes later when he latched onto Ruben Garcia's through-ball but his left-footed shot missed the target.

Panagiotis Vlachodimos had the home side's best chance of the first half but he fired his effort straight at Keylor Navas who made a comfortable save.

After the break, Rafik Djebbour had a half-chance to get his side level on the night but his shot couldn't be Navas in the Levante goal.

Olympiacos kept pressing as they were dominating possession and Ioannis Fetfatzidis became the last player to miss the target as they strived for a goal.

Dimitrios Siovas and Paulo Machado had late chances but neither could find a way past Navas as the Spanish side secured their place in the last 16 of the competition.
