Liverpool sealed a new Champions League record during a goalfest against Spartak Moscow at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side have scored more goals in the competition's group stage than any other English team.

The record was made in the second half of the Reds' home clash against Spartak when Philippe Coutinho nabbed a fifth goal in a dominant display.

The goal took Liverpool's tally in the group stage of the elite competition to 21.

The Merseyside outfit are expected to head into the last 16 as group winners ahead of Sevilla.
