Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that Daniel Sturridge is "highly unlikely" to feature against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The striker has been out of action since the start of September through injury, but he has travelled with his teammates to the Spanish capital for tomorrow night's Champions League match.
When asked if the England international had a chance of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu, Rodgers told reporters: "I brought all the players here but it's highly unlikely Sturridge will feature."
Sturridge has scored one goal in three games for Liverpool so far this season.
