Jurgen Klopp makes three changes to his Liverpool team to face Porto in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to his team to face Porto in this evening's Champions League last-16 first leg at the Estadio do Dragao.

Club captain Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Dejan Lovren all come into the side after being left out of the first XI that earned a 2-0 win over Southampton last Sunday.

Emre Can misses out due to suspension, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has dropped to the bench and Joel Matip has been axed at the back in favour of Lovren, who will partner Virgil van Dijk on the Dutchman's Champions League debut.

Ragnar Klavan has returned to fitness after recovering from a thigh injury, but he has not been included in the squad, while Joe Gomez has not been included in the starting side due to a recent injury niggle.

As expected, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah will provide the main attacking threat up front in the hope of coming away with an away goal or two.

Unfortunately for Porto, Vincent Aboubakar has been unable to make the first XI due to a muscular injury, while Marcano, Danilo and Andre Andre remain sidelined.

Porto: Jose Sa; Ricardo, Reyes, Marcano, Alex Telles; Herrera, Sergio; Otavio, Brahimi, Marega; Soares
Subs: Casillas, Pereira, Osorio, Oliver, Corona, Waris, Paciencia

Liverpool: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson; Milner, Henderson, Wijnlaudm; Salah, Mane, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Gomez, Moreno, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana, Ings, Matip
