Jamie Carragher says that Liverpool would have taken a point before their match with Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has revealed that his side would have settled for a point before their Premier League encounter with Chelsea.

The two sides drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after Luis Suarez's equaliser cancelled out John Terry's opener.

The Reds have been in form as of late, but Carragher feels that his side would have taken a point before their match with the Blues.

"It's a good point coming to Chelsea and getting a point," Carragher told talkSPORT.

"They are a top team and doing really well in the Premier League and before the game we would probably have settled for a point.

"As the game was going on they were looking a bit more threatening. But credit to the manager he changed things around at half-time and to get the equaliser and then go on to look to get the winner is credit to the lads."
