Philippe Coutinho: 'Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge make it easy for me'

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho claims that Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge make it easier for him to thrive as an attacking midfielder.

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has praised Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge for making his job easier.

The Brazilian feels that the quality of the two forwards, who have been dubbed the 'SAS', makes it less difficult for him to supply them with the passes they need to score the goals for the Reds.

"[Suarez and Sturridge are] always on the move and scoring goals and I'm very happy to play with them," The Mirror quotes Coutinho as saying.

"They make our work moving forward easier because they're always looking for space, and it's easier to pass them the ball.

"But it's not just them in the team, there are other great players and I'm very happy to be part of the group. It's an excellent team."

The Reds are currently second in the Premier League.
