Team News: Philippe Coutinho returns to starting XI

Philippe Coutinho returns to the Liverpool starting XI for today's clash with Fulham in the Premier League.

Liverpool welcome back Philippe Coutinho for today's match against Fulham in the Premier League.

The midfielder was on the bench for last week's defeat to Arsenal, but replaces John Flanagan today.

Daniel Agger also gets a start in place of Mamadou Sakho, as does Glen Johnson, who swaps with Kolo Toure.

Further up the field, the Reds line up with their usual pairing of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Alexander Kacaniklic is in for Fulham, as is Elsad Zverotic, who joined on transfer deadline day.

Dimitar Berbatov is again preferred to Darren Bent up front.

Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho; Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho; Suarez, Sturridge

Fulham: Stekelenburg; Zverotic, Richardson, Parker, Senderos, Amorebieta; Dejagah, Sidwell, Kacaniklic, Kasami; Berbatov
