Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has said that Harry Redknapp has turned Tottenham around since joining the side in 2008.
The former Portsmouth boss took over at White Hart Lane after the club sacked manager Juande Ramos, following a poor start to the season in which the club took just two points from eight games.
"Harry's a good lad and he's got a great team as well," Dalglish said. "It's not as if he's just a front man who puts on the laughs and jokes and gives everyone a line.
"He's actually very good at his job, which sometimes people miss. He's turned Spurs around. They're a big club but they're a lot better than they were when Harry went in there at first.
"Part of that has been wheeling and dealing, but the important thing is what happens on the pitch and he's done fantastically well."
Dalglish's Liverpool travel to Tottenham this afternoon to take on Redknapp's Spurs side, who have won just one game this season so far.
