Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has talked up the contribution made by full-back Andrew Robertson since breaking into the first team.
Robertson initially struggled for game time following his move from Hull City last summer, starting just two Premier League games before December due to the resurgence in Alberto Moreno's form.
However, an injury to Moreno opened the door for Robertson to break into the starting lineup, and the Scotland international has since kept his place in Jurgen Klopp's plans following a string of impressive performances.
"He has been brilliant over the last couple of months. He has settled in really well and against Porto going forward, he was fantastic," Henderson told Liverpool's official website.
"On and off the field Robbo has been brilliant and hopefully he's another one who can continue his form and keep it going for the rest of the season."
Robertson's appearance during Wednesday's 5-0 win over Porto was his first in the Champions League.
