Loris Karius has thanked Liverpool's fans for their support over his Champions League final horror show following his loan move to Besiktas.
The German has joined Besiktas on a two-year loan deal and is unlikely to ever play for Liverpool again, with the Turkish outfit having an obligation to make the move permanent in 2020 if certain criteria are met.
The abiding memory of Karius's 49-game Liverpool career will be his costly errors in last season's Champions League final, but he has thanked the club's supporters for sticking by him during the hard times.
Proud to be part of the famous @besiktas family now. Your welcome at the airport yesterday was simply overwhelming! I will give it my all to win with Beşiktaş.🦅

A big Thank You goes out to all of the Liverpool fans for the support until now – you indeed never let me walk alone. pic.twitter.com/Pw1eqrhFuv
Karius could make his debut for Besiktas against Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday.
