Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has joined Besiktas on a two-year loan deal.
The German found himself under particularly heavy criticism this summer following his mistakes in the Champions League final against Real Madrid as well as some error-strewn displays in pre-season.
With Alisson Becker's subsequent arrival from Roma, Karius's days at Anfield appeared to be numbered and, in the past few days, rumours of a move to the Turkish giants began to circulate.
Liverpool have now confirmed the deal, which will see the 25-year-old ply his trade for Besiktas until the end of the 2019-20 season.
Karius has made 49 appearances for the Reds since joining the club from Mainz 05 in 2016 but has not featured in a competitive game this term.
