Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made comparisons between Ben Woodburn and Rhian Brewster after the pair both hit the headlines earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Brewster scored a hat-trick as England Under-17s defeated Brazil in the semi-finals of the World Cup, while Liverpool have also announced that Woodburn has signed a new long-term contract at Anfield.
Klopp has insisted that he does not want to make Brewster's treble "too big", but the German has claimed that the two teenagers are the future of the Merseyside giants.
The 50-year-old told reporters: "I don't like to make things like this too big. We had Rhian around last season before he got an injury.
"Rhian is very similar as a person to Ben Woodburn. He never thinks about what team he's playing for. These boys are the future and we need to build the present."
While Brewster is only being used at Under-17 level, Woodburn has already made four appearances for the Wales senior team.
