Liverpool are reportedly preparing a new contract offer for Sadio Mane, although the club is being careful about handing out new lucrative extensions.

Liverpool are reportedly planning to offer Sadio Mane a new contract to extend his stay at the club.

The 30-year-old has just over 12 months left on his current deal, which is due to expire at the end of next season.

The Senegalese international has remained a consistent part of Jurgen Klopp's squad in this campaign, appearing in 28 Premier League games and scoring 13 times.

Liverpool are now preparing to offer an extension to Mane, and Football Insider reports that he does want to stay at Anfield, although talks have not progressed yet.

It is believed that the winger feels he has earned a lucrative contract extension due to his performances, and any potential new deal will be down to finances.

Fenway Sports Group are reportedly being careful right now about handing out long-term offers to both Mane and Mohamed Salah because of their ages.
