Pepe Reina: Defeat "very unfair" on Liverpool

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina says that their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United was "very unfair" and praises the performance of compatriot David de Gea.

Pepe Reina has bemoaned the 3-0 defeat that his former club Liverpool suffered at the hands of Manchester United this afternoon.

The visiting Merseysiders had 19 efforts in total, nine of which were on target, but they were unable to find a way beyond United goalkeeper David de Gea.


Reina left Liverpool in the summer to join German champions Bayern Munich.
